Kita Roberts is a food writer, recipe developer and travel photographer. Blogging since 2010, she has been delivering recipes for aspiring cooks on PasstheSushi and GirlCarnivore. When she is not in the kitchen, she is kicking up dust on trails looking for the next wild hands on adventure across the globe. She has worked with clients such as The American Lamb Board, Certified Angus Beef, Kraft, McCormick and has been a judge for multiple culinary competitions. Also, her Dad thinks she is a really good cook, which is the only thing that really matters.

About The Blog

Girl Carnivore is the brainchild of Kita Roberts whose love of meat started at a very young age when she was let loose in the wild to fight for her every meal with only her bare hands and a plastic fork. After scavenging for days and deciding that the underdone squishy texture of berries just weren't for her, she sank her teeth into a roaming cow. That was the moment Girl Carnivore was born.
